EHSAN MEMAR
SCULPTOR

Art has always been more than just a passion for meit’s been a way of life. My journey began in childhood with calligraphy, and I’ve continued exploring creativity ever since. My studies in graphic design deepened my understanding of form, color, and meaning. However, what truly excites me is creating art with my own hands.

I ventured into sculpture as a self-taught artist, and it has become the core of my artistic practice.
My works aim to weave a connection between nature and humanity, telling stories that feel both familiar and extraordinary.
Here, you’ll not only see art but also feel the emotions that flow within each piece. I’m delighted to have you join me on this artistic journey!

Imagination
2024

24 X 24 X 48 cm

Life is not what we see; it is what flows within the mind. A tree, its roots embracing the earth, its branches holding a transparent world-within which life pulses, not as reality but as a creation of imagination.
Fish swim in this fragile sphere, symbols of movement, vitality, and the dreams that keep us alive. But is this life real? Or is what we see merely a reflection of what stirs within us?
"Imagination" is a voice rising from the heart of nature and the human minda resonance of the truth that life finds its meaning not in what we touch but in what we imagine.

Ehsan weaves a tale of movement and growth through his art. The volumes in his works are born from lines layered rhythmically, forming vibrant, living structures that resonate with the essence of nature. Each line narrates a story of patience and precision, contributing to a harmonious whole. His creations mirror his inner journey, progressing slowly and purposefully, much like the organic growth of plants. With every stroke of his pen, Ehsan immerses himself in his art, allowing his continuous growth to become a part of the very fabric of his work.

Ehsan cannot remain indifferent to the daily happenings around him. Like a plant deeply influenced by its surroundings, he sometimes thrives and sometimes withers in the face of adversity. This profound connection to his environment is reflected in his works, portraying the resilience and fragility of life amidst challenges.

Ehsan’s philosophical and Eastern mindset is deeply rooted in his profound perception of humanity and nature. This perspective drives him on an inner and conceptual journey to explore the essence and true identity of mankind through his sculptures. He believes that human identity goes beyond surface appearances or superficial beliefs and strives to reveal these hidden layers through his art. For him, each sculpture is a reflection of this endless quest—an effort to understand humanity’s place in the world and its connection to time, nature, and the society in which it exists.

These works are part of a collection born from the earth, where each hand, sinking into the soil in a moment of spontaneity, takes form in a poetic and natural way. In this collection, each piece reflects a deep connection between humanity and nature; a bond where time and space fade away, leaving only the trace of pure touch.
Sand, with its soft and transient nature, is like memories slipping through the fingers. In this space, human hands leave a mark in the embrace of the earth, as if a moment of life’s truth is captured within. The rough and uneven texture of these works suggests that every touch and every interaction with nature holds a part of humanity, a reflection of the essence of existence.
This collection not only narrates the fragility and resilience of humanity, but also invites reflection on the bond between humans, time, and the earth, reminding us that even in spontaneous and fleeting moments, a piece of truth remains.

Tree of Life
2024
 Esfahan . IRAN

A tree made of metal, rising majestically to a height of 17 meters, symbolizes the harmony between nature and technology. This artwork seeks to depict the union and balance between natural elements and modern structures. Its metallic structure, with intertwined lines and suspended spheres, reflects the complexity and interconnectedness of our world—a world where humanity, with its knowledge and creativity, builds bridges between the past and the future.
The 17-meter height of this sculpture, like tree branches reaching for the sky, represents endless aspirations and human progress. This piece is not only a reminder of the magnificence of nature but also an invitation for everyone to strive for a balance between preserving nature and advancing industry.
